Well we made it to Toulouse, unpacked the bikes and assembled them, had lunch in an amazing bakery (started the pastry count !!) and even went for a beautiful 45km ride alongside a 400 year old Napoleonic Canal. Pretty good day.
The showery weather has passed !! The Garmins with temperature recording were showing 34C in the shade this afternoon and that was at 4.30 pm. Took 1 1/2 bidons thinking that would be enough for 40kms but it wasn't. Mouth was bone dry for the final 10 kms.
